Product assembly involves more than putting parts together. PCBAs, wiring harnesses, connectors, speakers, enclosures, seals, and software functions all need to work together. Based on your drawings, BOM, technical specifications, or physical samples, ZEH provides OEM/ODM assembly services covering component coordination, assembly planning, functional testing, and packaging.
ZEH can coordinate PCBAs, control boards, displays, sensors, speakers, microphones, wiring harnesses, connectors, plastic parts, metal parts, and fasteners according to product requirements, with attention to dimensions, interfaces, electrical connections, and mechanical fit.
Individual parts that meet drawing specifications do not necessarily ensure smooth assembly of the complete product. Connector placement, harness length, enclosure tolerances, button feel, speaker mounting, and space for heat dissipation can all affect assembly and product functionality. ZEH evaluates electronic, electrical, mechanical, and assembly requirements together to identify fit and compatibility issues that need to be resolved in advance.
We define assembly sequences and work instructions based on the product design, covering screw fastening, snap-fit assembly, harness routing, connector mating, seal installation, adhesive bonding, and thermal component installation. For critical operations, we can establish specific assembly control points according to project requirements.
When electronics, wiring harnesses, audio components, plastic enclosures, and metal structures are sourced and assembled separately, communication and interface verification can add to project management workloads. Within the agreed project scope, ZEH coordinates components and assembly processes, giving customers a central point of contact for product requirements and deliverables.
ZEH provides customization and assembly services for vehicle instrument clusters and automotive electronics, AI voice and Bluetooth audio products, speakers and audio modules, consumer electronics, and smart home devices. Core components include speakers, PCB assemblies (PCBAs), wire harnesses, plastic and metal enclosures, and other electronic components.
Yes. If you have engineering drawings, a bill of materials (BOM), and technical specifications, we can review the manufacturing and assembly requirements based on your existing design. If you only have a product concept, functional requirements, or a physical sample, we can start by discussing the intended application, available installation space, target cost, and expected order volume to define the development scope and implementation plan.
OEM projects typically follow customer-provided designs and specifications, with a focus on manufacturing, testing, and assembly. ODM projects involve more upfront development, such as electronic hardware, embedded firmware, display interfaces, and mechanical design. Based on the available documentation and development needs, we work with you to define design responsibilities, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
Yes. ZEH can coordinate the design, manufacturing, and integration of these components based on your complete product requirements. We review board mounting locations, connector orientation, wire harness routing, speaker mounting, and enclosure fit. For audio products, we can also evaluate acoustic chambers, sound outlet openings, and amplifier matching. Speakers and enclosures are also available as standalone manufacturing services.
Yes. Depending on your project, we can discuss supplying individual components, partially assembled kits, or fully assembled products. When requesting a quote, please specify which operations you plan to handle in-house and which manufacturing, assembly, and testing tasks you would like ZEH to perform. This helps define the scope of supply, interface requirements, and delivery configuration.
Not necessarily. The need for new tooling depends on the product’s structure, appearance, materials, dimensions, and expected production volume. If an existing design meets your requirements, we can evaluate reusing it or making limited modifications. If the product requires a custom injection-molded enclosure or other parts requiring dedicated tooling, we first review the mechanical design, then confirm the tooling plan and associated costs.
Testing is defined by the product’s functions and acceptance requirements. It may include functional checks of power, communication, displays, buttons, audio, sensors, and actuators. Firmware programming, parameter configuration, and calibration can also be included as needed. If burn-in, environmental, or other specialized testing is required, the test conditions, acceptance criteria, and scope should be defined during the quotation stage.
Before production, we review locating datums, mating dimensions, connector access and clearance, wire harness lengths, and the assembly sequence within the complete product. We use sample assemblies to verify areas that may affect fit and establish requirements for fastening, wire routing, sealing, and critical inspections to help reduce subsequent adjustments and rework.
Yes. Product markings, labels, instruction manuals, accessories, and protective packaging can be customized to your project requirements. We recommend confirming marking locations, printed content, packaging methods, and carton packing requirements during the sample stage and incorporating the approved documents into the final delivery specifications.
Please provide as much information as possible, including the intended application, functional requirements, engineering drawings, BOM, space constraints, power and interface requirements, expected order quantity, and target delivery date. Please also include any reference samples, testing standards, or packaging requirements. If your documentation is not yet complete, you can start by sharing your product concept and key requirements for an initial review.
