Custom Midbass Speaker for a Soundbar System

Soundbar enclosures are typically limited to under 10cm in height. Within this constraint, driver excursion needs to be controlled so that cabinet resonance or rattling does not occur at higher volume.
ZEH produces a low-profile driver, typically 2.5"–4" in diameter, using an extended-throw suspension to allow more excursion within a shallow mounting depth. Motor force factor (Bl) is selected based on the enclosure's internal volume. Basket and frame dimensions are adapted to fit narrow soundbar cross-sections.
